His intrinsic talent for business manifested while still studying in college, creating a class-ring company that he later sold off profitably while only 27 years old. While enjoying the achievements of his effort and hard work, Randy Best always managed to reminisce his own difficulties with education and learning and sympathize with all students coping with the difficulties in reading. A natural problem solver, he used his own resources and initiated a program that would apply modern technology in order to make schooling more efficient. He designed a premier reading program which educated school age children in Texas to be better readers, significantly boosting their overall literary levels.

Stimulated by his continuous dedication to education and learning, Randy Best established a nationwide initiative, supporting over 10 million young students learn how to read. With his company Best Associates, Randy Best continues to focus on business initiatives with a social mission, especially those that offer an enduring and positive effect on society as well as the well being of children including making high quality education and learning available to more people.
